London Irish

Naoimh and Robin's wedding was a treat; small, relaxed and fun. And in London. Lovely.

The ceremony was at the elegant Mayfair Library. It's being used for weddings whilst Marylebone Town Hall is being refurbished but I think they're going to leave it open as its so popular. I'm not surprised, it's a pretty building on a quiet cul de sac leading to a green square. In Mayfair. All very civilised.

After the ceremony the guests hopped on a London bus to the Union in Soho. I love the Union. I think partly because my good friends got married there a few years ago but also just because its completely charming. A Georgian townhouse in the middle of Soho with walls covered in paintings and wonky floors. I left before the evening reception started but I'm sure they all had a brilliant time. Naoimh and Robin are such a nice couple you couldn't have failed to.

The Cassaps

This is the wedding of my friends James and Nikki a few weeks ago on a glorious Thursday afternoon. About forty guests came to a beautiful house and gardens near Cambridge. The setting was gorgeous, the mini Cassaps looked super cute (check out the twins little matching outfits!), the guests were lovely, the food was delicious, there was loads of silly dancing and the sun shone all day. Perfect! Congratulations you two x
